Lynn

CREDENTIALS

Lynn was awarded a PhD from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. 

She is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

In 2007, she was awarded the Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievement by ISC2. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Since 2012, Lynn has been Managing Director and CEO of IT Security Research Services which provides advice and direction on research in Information Technology Security. 

She is also currently a Professor within the School of Information Technology at Deakin University as well as Director of the Securing Cyberspace Research Laboratory at Deakin.

She was Board Member and company Office-Holder of SECIA from 2007 to 2010 and a Board Member of the International Association of Cryptologic Research from 2007-2009. 

She has had visiting fellowships in Bombay, Toronto, Paris, Rome, London, Mainz and Brussels. 


FRANK JORISSEN
ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Frank

Frank was awarded a MSc from the University of Leuven, Belgium, in 1985 where he subsequently also served as cryptographic research assistant for two years. Frank also holds a postgraduate  business administration degree from HUB-KUBrussel (2004).

Frank was co-founder of PKI and disk encryption specialist Utimaco Belgium in 1992. Frank also co-founded  the leading annual "ISSE" ICT Security conference while Vice Chairman of the Board of eema (the European association for e-identity and security),  he was awarded eema Fellowship in 2007. Frank was also project leader of the European Commission funded "pki Challenge" project on PKI interoperability in 2000 and served as Vice President of PKI &IAM technology partners at McAfee.

Between 1985 and 2011 Frank worked for a variety of ICT Security organisations: KULeuven, Cryptech, Utimaco (Sophos), Globalsign, SafeBoot and McAfee (Intel), during this period he was also a frequent speaker, at ao ISSE, PKI Forum, OASIS, EEMA/EMA, IIR, Infosecurity Europe etc. 

Since 2011 Frank has been Owner and Managing Director of tygris bvba, which specialises in international business development support for startups in the IAM and ICT Security space. 

He comes with 30 years of experience in the ICT Security and IAM spaces.  Frank’s role is to advise on potential principals we can partner with to provide synergies in Asia Pacific and also in the direction and guidance of Access Governance in the IAM space. 


ANDREW FERGUSON

Andrew

Andrew’s role is to mentor the company by providing guidance direction and specialist IAM Market knowledge,  He comes with many years of general and product management experience across Asia-Pacific and has co-founded companies representing global software vendors.  He co-founded Internet Commerce Australia (ICA) in 1993, a specialist independent consulting group that advises government, higher education and private sector organisations on the harnessing of technologies to implement effective Identity & Access Management, Cloud and Mobile services.  


In 1996, he co-founded eB2Bcom in Melbourne Australia, a software distribution company focussing on Defence & Trusted systems. In 2002, he co-founded eNitiatives Pty Ltd and in 2004 this company acquired the ViewDS software.  In the same year (2004) he was instrumental in setting up and running eB2Bcom (Asia Pacific) based in Singapore where he lived until 2009.

 Andrew has an extensive track record and expert knowledge of the Identity and Access management space, with a detailed knowledge of the worldwide IT Security markets.  Andrew has through his company investments  travelled widely and spoken at many conference over the last 20 years such as the Information Security Solutions – Europe (ISSE) in Budapest (2005) and Rome (October 2006), EEMA Conferences in Barcelona (June 2006), Brussels (March 2009),and  Tallinn (June 2011) the FXS Conference in Singapore (July 2007) and the Homeland Security conference in Singapore (Sept 2007), US DoD Security Conferences in Tampa Florida (May 2011 and May 2012), KuppingerCole European Identity  & Cloud Conferences Munich (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 ). Gartner Catalyst Conferences (San Diego 2008-2012), UK IDM Conference (2012) and the PingIdentity Cloud Identity Summit (Colorado 2011-12 and Monterey 2014) and Gartner IAM Conference (Las Vegas 2012)

Andrew  is CMILT - Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in Systems Analysis.
